ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

  Yup, that’s me! I played a court reporter on Season 3 of Orange is the New Black. It’s been so much fun hearing from my friends who’ve seen the show and caught my quick cameo! Here’s a little background on how it all came together. How did you get to play a reporter on Orange is the New Black? I wish I could say the producers were a huge fan of my work and tracked me down but that is not the case! Haha. I had to audition for this part just like every other actor. The casting breakdown came across my agent’s desk and she asked if I wanted to try out for it. That was a no-brainer! I met with a casting director, turned on my reporter voice and then a few weeks later found out a got a speaking role in Episode 6 of Season 3. I was not expecting to come back for episodes 9 and 10. That was a pleasant surprise that occurred after we wrapped episode 6. Who did you meet from the cast?
